When things are calm you’re able to handle it and you don't feel that you need to hire someone to help you. But the problem is you're not taking into account the opportunity costs. What we do is we wait until there’s a crisis and we are being squeezed really hard and then decide to do something about it. And typically, it’s urgent at that point and it causes us to make mistakes, because we’re just trying to put out the fire instead of being forward thinking. So even though things were pretty calm in my life, I hired my first personal assistant to help me not be such a hot mess in my personal life, and this is how I did it.
